Yoga classes on Wednesdays from 7-8pm, in the common room.
The class instructor, Anne, says: "I am fully insured and I bring blocks and straps with me (participants just need a mat). Classes are a "gentle flow" working on strength, ease and moving our bodies to feel good. Every class includes a meditation and a relaxation/stillness practice (savasana). I have my Yin training, so sometimes I add that in (holding shapes for longer to ease the fascia). There is a mix of standing sitting and lying down poses and most can be adapted for whatever challenges a person is facing that day."
Please note that while the Events Committee is organising these yoga classes and providing the space, the classes are not financially subsidised by the co-op.
