IMPORTANT message from COHO:


"In response to the COVID-19 crisis, COHO advised you that we are postponing work orders in individual units.  This applies to occupied and unoccupied units.   We will complete work orders for public areas and will ensure that your co-op’s public areas are cleaned and disinfected.  COHO is following best practices in the choice of cleaning agents and our staff will use personal protective equipment.   Please see attached three documents on the subject, issued by:  BC Housing, Government of Canada, and Public Health Ontario.  They all contain very similar advice, which is consistent with our plans.


We respectfully request that you ask your members to follow BC health laws and avoid congregating with each other around the property.  This endangers the health and safety of BOTH your members and our staff.   We’ve heard of co-ops that are posting notices to remind their members.  In the unlikely case that members are congregating and/or not practicing the physical distance guidelines, we will discontinue services until it is safe for our staff to continue working.

 We look forward to resuming our regular service when the public health authorities advise us that it is safe to do so.  Thanks for your cooperation and patience during this time."

Maintenance staff is on-site once per week to address non-urgent maintenance requests. If you are concerned about the status of your work order, please contact the office by email.
