Entries this week!
- Brianne Elizabeth - cooked turkey bacon that i keep eating and what has probably contributed to making me sick the past couple days. oops. throwing it out now:/
- Jenny Allan - Truthfully - a jar of unopened raspberry jam that my grandma made. She passed away in 2011 so you can see how old it is. I can’t bear to through it out but also now can’t quite get up the courage to eat it.
- Marlene Yuen - In preparation for Ada's return to school, a couple of weeks ago I found her lunch bag. It had a cheese string in it from March !
- Shane O'Neill - We cleared out the deepest depths of our corner cabinet to prepare for dishwasher installation a few weeks ago and unearthed some solid contenders. The winner was a can of hominy that expired in 2006.
- Tara Stephens - Maybe not so scary but we found a bag of ground cloves from 2015. Food older than my children is much much too old.
- Sarah Kaye - Hey! This challenge is a covert way of getting us to clean out our cupboards....
I ventured deep into the nether regions of our freezer and found some frozen oxtail from February... 2019? ... 2018? Never did make that soup I thought I'd make!
