Dear Members,

As discussed during the September General Meeting, Athlete's Village Co-op Board members have expressed the need for an immediate and long-term appliance replacement and maintenance plan for units. The AVC Appliance Replacement Committee (ARC) was formed in August 2020 with volunteers from Co-op Membership to investigate issues with and opportunities for refrigerator and stove replacement, and to make recommendations to COHO for implementation. The ARC has created a survey with the aim of collecting key data about the condition of members' appliances as well as needs and concerns of our membership regarding appliance purchasing and maintenance. The data will help shape the replacement policy to be developed and help the board allocate funds for appliance replacement.
