AVC Response 2020 Townhall March 13th, 2020
We kicked off our first distributed AVC Response 2020 Townhall tonight.
Why are we doing this?
We are building resiliency.
The situation with COVID-19 is extremely fluid and changing by the hour. This daily call is an opportunity for us to connect, ask questions, discuss what's going on, and get information. If we're able to keep all of us aware of the best things we can be doing, we will come out of this as a community healthier and happier than if we didn't.
What happened?
There were about 8-10 of us on the call tonight. We made a document publicly accessible to anyone with the link where we will capture notes. https://docs.google.com/…/1ieo3s0GZdLYT4IAY9xhNmLUxahC…/edit.
The doc is a little rough around the edges but we hope anyone can get a sense of what we talked about. Anyone can add comments to that doc. The notes of each daily call will be added to that same doc.
How can I join the next call?
The details to connect to the casual daily 8:30pm call are in an email that went out today. For those that want the URL to add to your calendar, it's https://zoom.us/j/887340328. The Zoom software can be downloaded at https://zoom.us/support/download. There are conference call dial in numbers in the email that went out today.
What was the primary take-away from tonight's Town Hall call?
Social distancing, social distancing, social distancing. We are all going to need to make big changes to our behaviour within this building and within our community.
