First Avenue Athletes Village Housing Cooperative Board of Directors
Are you a passionate and resourceful cooperator, looking for ways to support the co-op and represent the needs of our members? We’re looking for you to join the Board!
At our January 27, 2021 Annual General Meeting, there will be four (4) board positions up for election. This a great opportunity to gain valuable governance experience and to work with fellow co-op members to ensure the ongoing well-being of our cooperative enterprise and community.
An open and diverse community fosters the inclusion of voices that have been underrepresented or discouraged. We encourage applications from members of groups that have been marginalized on any grounds enumerated under the B.C. Human Rights Code, including sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, racialization, disability, political belief, religion, marital or family status, age, and/or status as a First Nation, Metis, Inuit, or Indigenous person.
First Avenue Athletes Village Housing Co-operative’s Board of Directors thanks you in advance for your interest and consideration. For more information or to speak to a current director about what is involved, please consider attending a virtual Q&A on Sunday, January 24, 2020
