Hello Neighbours,

Let's get together and celebrate one of our favourite events of the year! Get dressed up and join us for a costume parade around Hinge park. Bring lights, glow sticks and anything that will make you more visible. 

Starting time: 5:00pm, Saturday October 31st, 2020   

Costumed Participants (adults & pets welcome but will not receive candy):  
We ask that anyone participating in the parade leave your apartment at a pre-assigned time and follow a pre-determined route in hopes that our elevator/stairwell will not be too congested. We will then invite you to walk through the courtyard and receive a bag of candy that will be quarantined for an appropriate amount of time beforehand. Once your child has received their candy, they will exit through the gate and we will make a safely distanced line and start the parade. Once we have done a loop of the exterior pathway of Hinge park, you are welcome to safely gather in the interior of the park (grass area) or return home. 

Observers:
We welcome all neighbours and friends to come and watch the parade. The parade route will follow the exterior path (map will be emailed next week) of Hinge park.  We will ask that you watch from the interior (grass area) of the park. 

Friends:
In order to maintain our 'bubble', we ask that friends/family of neighbours not come through the courtyard or collect candy. They are more than welcome to watch or join the parade once we arrive at Hinge park. Thank you in advance. 

Candy Collection:
Please drop candy (to be shared with everyone) off to David & Andrea Fraser-Winsby's unit #412 by 6:00pm on Saturday, October 24th. We will divide into bags and quarantine properly before the event. PLEASE NO HOMEMADE GOODIES THIS YEAR! Only packaged candy/gifts will be allowed in bags.  We will give an update on numbers through our event page on Facebook.  You can always contact Emily directly if you are not on Facebook.
