Dear Members:
It is the time of year for holiday fun and Christmas Trees. If you are bringing in a live Christmas tree, please note the following guidelines:
- When you bring your tree in and out of the building, it must be bagged [to avoid needle shedding]
- Members are responsible to clean up any mess created by the trees, and for any damage done as trees are moved in and out of the building and units
- Trees must be removed from the Co-op within a timely manner after the holiday [fire hazard]
- Do not use live candles on or around the trees [fire hazard]
- Dispose of trees at designated drop off places. Trees must not be left in the garbage room, in the underground, on balconies or outside the building. DO NOT put trees in the compactor.
For information on how to dispose of live Christmas trees visit:

Some stores will also take used trees purchased at their outlets.
Thank you for your co-operation. Have a wonderful, safe holiday!
