The following information is for any members who wish to try to replace their own light bulbs. Note that it is not generally easy to do so, and damage to the light fixtures may result if the bulbs are not replaced properly. The Co-op assumes no responsibility for any injuries that may occur if a member attempts to replace the suite light bulbs themselves.

This ispecific light bulbs used in our units:
- Phillips or General Electric light bulbs are required for all units.
- 13 W - General Electric, code GE F13DBX/835/4P 13W G24q-1
These are usually found in the bedrooms, storage room and hallway. - 18 W – Phillips, code PL-C 18W / 35 / 4P / Alto (18 Watt PL Quad 3500K 4 pin compact).
These are usually found in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway.
Note: the building has at least two different kinds of very similar looking fixture connections for these bulbs and they are not compatible. In fact, even within a single unit both lightbulb type fixtures could have been used. Examine an existing bulb from the exact fixture you are changing to determine *exactly* what type of bulb connector your fixtures use:
One connector type
Another connector type
Examples of bulbs of the two different types:

- 20 W – GAL MR-16 Flood 12V GU5.3 2-pin base
These are the spot lights in the bathroom. - Bulbs can be ordered from All Brite and they deliver it onsite. CRS tech has been replacing them for five years and there was no issue with the quality of these bulbs from this supplier. PH. 604-292-4800/4820
