The standard paint used has since been changed?
Paint information found in previous FB posts…
This is from Cristina (previous maintenance manager) when asked about the paint by someone moving out.
The paint was bought from ICI Paint, they have a one store really close to the Co-op, on Main Street. There is a tricky part though: the paint code does not match the colour in the units perfectly. So to get an exact match, the best thing to do would be to scrape some paint off the wall and go to ICI with it. They will create the right match.
2. This tip was from someone moving out: The Dulux paint store on Main and 16th(?) which has the exact paint that was used in the co-op; Cristina can give you the paint codes if you request them. It might take them a while to find the project (it is under a different name than the one on the sheet, which I cant remember now) but they can match the colour and the finish so don't let them tell you otherwise. The paint is $55 a gallon, but a gallon painted our two bedrooms, kitchen, foyer, and living room.
If you are wondering why we had to paint (some people may not have to) it is because we put a billion pictures up thinking we were never going to leave the co-op, but then had to fill all of the holes. A great tip was to fill the hole, paint over the spot, then paint the entire wall, it worked great! No cutting in and no flashback! super easy.
