Events Committee Event Details - Children’s Valentine's Day Exchange
I know, winter holidays are barely over, but here comes the 2023 Children's Valentine's Day Card Exchange!
To participate in the card exchange, please email francesca.defreitas@gmail.com with your child's name and unit number.
Dates:
Tue, Jan 31, 10pm - deadline to sign up.
Mon, Feb 13 - Outside your door, have your child put a box, basket, or bag with their name on it.
Tue, Feb 14 - Have your child deliver a card to each child on the list.
Valentines can be store bought or handmade, there is no creative pressure, the fun is all in the sneaking around and delivering them. Please note: This year we are asking for paper or card Valentines only, no plastic or food items.

The Events Committee would like to ask your indulgence - the hallways will be noisier than usual tomorrow as the co-op kids deliver their Valentine's cards. This is a splendid opportunity for the kids to be a little more independent navigating around the building, and while we do of course ask them to be considerate, there will be lots of them out and about. Dog parents, please be aware there may be food items in the hallways. Peak loud is expected to be in the morning before school, and in the late afternoon. Thank you for your patience.
Notes for Hosts
- Get sign up sheets out early, it's stressful for kids and parents to make lots of cards, as much notice as possible helps.
- Sign up sheet is in Google Docs
- Make sure to include the latest allergy info in the email out to parents.
