• Quarantine all board games for three days

• Reviewed and reported on action items from the previous meeting

• Thank you’s for events in the last month

  • Claire for the craft sessions, Peter for hosting, and Liam and Eoin for organizing and  delivering craft supplies

  • Emily for the Solstice

  • Ollie and family for lobby decorating and for taking down the decorations

  • All the carolling volunteers

  • Alysun and Nels volunteered to write coop questions for the quiz show

• Weekly challenge draw (sock quarantine challenge): Helen Stortini

• Valentine’s Day card exchange

  • February 14

  • No food and request kids to wash hands and wear masks

  • Remind kids to stay distant and not to roam hallways in groups

• Kids book club will be meeting for the 3rd time (4-5 kids have been participating)

• Helen has volunteered to host lego club

• Open up Valentine’s Day card exchange to all coop, including adults, this year (add Mark to the list)

• We have been asked to put a committee presentation during the AGM

  • Include spreadsheet on stats on the Star Awards and weekly challenges

  • Get feedback on communications from the committee (e.g. using email to communicate in addition to FB and Slack)

• Leryn has created a spreadsheet that will help committee members to make decisions based on what is remaining on the budget

• Coop quiz show will be happening this month

  • 23 will be attending the Zoom event (organized into teams of 5-6 people)

  • The cost is $262

  • Paper posters (gold, silver, bronze) displayed on winners’ doors and two spot prizes (coffee gift cards)

• Carousel Theatre cost for using our non-profit status to get a group ticket was $150/show, not $150 for three shows as we hoped, too expensive for activity.

• Weekly challenge suggestions - favorite mask, favorite lighting, snowflake (take a pic and put on the lobby windows, if they want)

  Action Items:

• Francesca to talk to Kristie about photo composite of the coop

• Francesca to talk to Helen about putting co-op lego club in Slack

• Francesca and Brianne will work together to use Kahoot for a possible monthly quiz show

• April to post on Facebook about VPL crafting event 

• Francesca will figure out how to get the $200 gift to Claire/Marlene for the kids crafting

• Francesca to look into getting the mural updated
