Communication issues - We need to make sure that all members are aware of events. Potential ways:

• Calendar in newsletter (Francesca to make sure Andrea Fraser-Winsby is invited to next meeting)

• Large calendar/list of events in lobby (one that locks – TASHA)

• Facebook events (not just posts)

• Get access to Co-op wide email list

• Shared Google Calendar/ical

• Website/blog that automatically posts to facebook (Garden committee also interested in this): ON HOLD FOR NOW

Welcoming new members 

• Should be part of Event Committee role

• Make sure free room is mentioned in Welcome Package

• Tie into Cookie Socials, rather than hold separate event

• Check to see if Lee-Anne is still involved in this

• Have neighbour extend a verbal invitation to the Cookie Social.

• Prepare an info sheet, content TBD, can Leah print for us? (Francesca to ask)

Is there a role for the Events Committee in being a contact point where people can ask for help?

• Eg. Bringing Sketch to see Brianne in hospital

• Asking for a dinner delivery when your family is sick

• Have an email address where you can send a request for help?
